Software Updates and File Downloads

Before you begin

Software updates are optional and not required for your saber to function. These updates can make your saber software more stable or add some features. These can also prepare your saber for future updates.

  • Please use the help below to identify the hardware and software installed when you purchased your saber. *NO UPDATES ARE NEEDED FOR THE SHORTER BOARD (V1.2)*
  • ALWAYS remove the battery before removing and installing the SD card. It is possible for there to be a small power surge and this can damage your saber electronics.
  • Changing files on your SD card can void your warranty and cause damage to your electronics. Please only update the file specified.

How to Determine your Hardware/Software version

V1.1.0

Our initial launch of the saber came with a full-length board that completely covered the battery and wires. This version also had an SD card slot that would slide and lift to release the SD card. The SD card would then be reinstalled and the door closed.

  • This version was part of our pre-sales and Indiegogo Campaign and sold through 2023.
  • Software Version 1.1.0 was installed on this saber.

V1.2.0

After hearing feedback of our customers who had problems reinstalling the door or loosing the door on our first Hardware version we changed to a permanently affixed SD card slot where the card is pulled out and slides back in. The board was shorted to allow the SD card to have clearance.

  • This version began to ship in late 2023 and early 2024
  • Software Version 1.2.0 was installed on this saber from the factory.
