I’ve been dueling with my 9 year old son and it’s been great. He hit’s pretty hard and so far so good. I like the way you can change the settings but there is a bit of a learning curve as those two buttons are doing a lot. But once you get it figured out it is great. I just kept the FAQ page opened in a browser on my phone to consult. Also, the “control lock” really helps when dueling so you don’t end up changing all of your settings. Customer service has been great as well. It does take two days for the first response but then they are there.

Very durable blades! The tips can wiggle loose while dueling, but superglue can fix that easily.

Great service

The price point was what I was looking for but the quality was off. It didn't fully illuminate through the blade. Then while I was moving the box I heard a rattling. Turns out the mirror piece had come off of the tip. So now I have to glue the pieces back together and try it again. Not what I was hoping for but then again it was cheaper than their competitors. So hopefully when the mirror part is installed I will have a better result.

1st we bought them to use in FMA training and sparing. So we went with KYBER for the blade strength and warranty. We’ve had them for a few weeks and we work them hard. Last night the reflector in one of the blade tips popped off. Relatively easy fix… but it still broke. The handles are solid so far, but the only hilt configuration that is really useable without gloves is the one the basic unit comes with. The others are machined in a way that leaves serious hot spots and edges that just don’t work well on a “live” blade setup. The electronics are good so far and have held up to substantial hard work in terms of durability. As with all sabers, getting the controls down takes a quick minute. Also the color combinations of the accessories, just don’t fully match, specially the “silvers” aren’t the same and the fit on the hilts leaves something to be desired when used for hard sword work on the alternate configurations. Lastly the weight is substantial and while workable two handed, one handed work is pretty unbalanced. You can compensate by holding the saber at the very end and using the lower nob screw as a brace support between the pinky and ring finger. All screws and parts must be firmly tightened and even then they come loose quickly in actual sparing.

For over $600 on two sabers with a total of 6 blades at different lengths, not a bad value… and the setup is definitely better than the cheap internet stuff, but personally I expected the fit and finishing to be better.
