Don't spend $500+ on a saber that you cannot customize at home. For a fraction of the cost you can swap out accessories anytime!
I own a bunch of sabers from all kinds of companies but kyberlight is the best one I own.
As I'm typing this, the V10 RGB is under $175, so take advantage while you still can. It's a steal.
- Compared to the V5, the V10's speaker is way louder, in fact too loud that I have to put the volume down every time 😂 it could be a good or bad thing for saber lovers. You decide.
- Having a C charger is more convenient than a DC charger but that seems to be the norm with today's lightsabers, so props to Kyberlight for modernizing their charging ports.
- V5 had only 3 soundfonts, the V10 has 38 soundfonts! Which is the highlight in my opinion, some fonts are unique to the V10.
- Smoothswing is still the same as the V5, which is still superb and very responsive.
- V10 RGB got more color options compared to the V5. Kyberlight saber is currently better than those RGB sabers you find at Amazon which got less than 10 soundfonts and less color options. I even got Kyberlight over LGTs/TXQ Baselit RGB sabers. This is the saber to get!
Aux and Power button are now lit. Tip: while off, press and hold the Power button and then Aux button to change between blade effects (Standard, Blaster and Ghost). When changing fonts, some fonts with their color don't turn on, it's because you might have the Blaster effect on.
I have honestly never had any issues with any of your products and this one definitely takes the best the only change I would make is more accessories and a wider variety of them
I just want to say that I am a big fan of your sabers. My very first saber that I bought was a V5. It impressed me very much and the quality and sturdiness was amazing. I then decided to buy a V10 kyberPixel. This Pixel saber completely blew my mind. The number of features on this saber is nuts. The Sound quality is very impressive compared to the V5. I thought V5 sound was good and the V10 just brought it to a whole new level. I connected my two sabers together and made a Darth Maul like saber :-) . The customer service is also top-notch compared to other saber producers! I asked a question through email and in like 2 hours got an answer. Thank you Kyberlight! You are doing an awesome job.
Ok so i will start with i purchased both an RGB v10 and a Pixel v10.
Overall V10 Observations:
Very happy with both. These are great and i cant wait to add another to the collection.
Pixel blade is very nice, bright and everything you would expect it to be. Please note it is 36 inches, so it will be longer than the standard blade from last gen.
Not to be out done, this is still my go to and im considering another. Plenty bright and just what youve come to expect from this brand
V10 design is great, super easy to get to the sd card, speaker is much better than previous gen.. its really powerful... selection of fonts is vast. Mute has beem reworked to only impact the fonts, not the system messages... still allows for battery check and font selection to be called out. Buttons are easier to press / raised slightly. Motion controls are a neat addition.
New speaker makes me wish for more adjustable volume settings, i need like 10%, so it is something i hope the app can tackle as id like a bit quieter than the preset 25%.
Buttons are easier to press and have lights in them, but id like to be able to turn those lights off, though i will point out that they make it easy to tell its on.
RGB Specific Complaint:
It comes set up just like the pixel, same saber effects and blade effects in each of the preset fonts. That means the first sound font you get (the return) is set to do some fancy power up that looks impressive on the pixel.... but on the RGB, it has no light. You can fix this by setting it up to standard effects and solid blade.... but at first you'll think something is wrong. The next font works fine as its defaults are within what the RGB baselit can do, so you quickly realize its an effect you need to tweak to get back on track.
So the only complaint i really have here is that the RGB factory setup should not mirror the Pixel's effects defaults.
Pixel Specific Complaint:
Nothing. It is Impressive. Would like to see replacement pixel blades orderable, but thats website house keeping... the Pixel is great for a non heavy combat fan experience. Super bright and just what you want for that on screen movie look.
