The blade looks and fits awesome. The only issue is if you plan to use it in the dark with the saber light you'll need to get diffuser film. This blade did not come with it.
They work ok. It definitely lets you see the color better in strong light. However the sides of the blade don't diffuse the light like the normal blades do, instead it all shines out the tip end like a flashlight on and doesn't give the impression the whole blade is glowing. If you leave the lighted area I think they look significantly worse than the standard blade. Almost better to just turn the light off and rely on plastic color alone.
I opted to use the Kyber Light dayblade since a lot of the photos were going to be taken outside, and I think you can see the difference it made. Well, you would be able to see if I was allowed to add photos...which I thought was kind of the point. I'll add pics in later if I get permissions.
These are prefect for decorating your saber in daylight. They are also great for when you hang your saber on a wall or otherwise display it. If you want to also use the day blade with the LED on I highly recommend buying a tall roll of cellophane and using it as blade film for inside the day blade. I did this and it works great for diffusing the light across the translucent blade.
Only teo words: FRIGGING AWESOME!!!!!
